Our parish family prays for each personal petition, a prayer of praise and thanksgiving, and prayer request entrusted to us for the spiritual and temporal needs of others. The church invites each of us to pray for one another. We are called to share in the perpetual gift of prayer and petition for the needs of others, particularly for our brothers and sisters, who for whatever reason are unable or unwilling to pray for themselves because of their state of life or due to a lack of faith or in a time of spiritual doubt. We pray for others so that this indispensable ministry of charity may persevere "to bring good news to the poor, to heal the contrite of heart (Luke 4:18)."
