Long-Range Planning & Stewardship Commission

We are blessed to be part of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis located in central and southern Indiana. We are here, in this place, connected in the Spirit. Some of us grew up here. Many of us raised, or are raising, our families here. We know very well what the author of Ecclesiastes meant when he wrote, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

Our parish communities have existed for many, many years and are firmly part of the fiber of the lives of Fulda, St. Meinrad, and surrounding areas in southern Indiana. We are fortunate to have had such a profound impact on our families and communities for over 150 years. We have only just begun, though, and we must ensure that St. Boniface and St. Meinrad parishes continue to be vibrant communities for decades to come. This commission seeks to promote strategic awareness among pastoral council members, identifying initiatives, priorities and specific tasks for moving forward in a secure and prudent manner.
